Matthew 6:10 (KJV)
10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

The attitude of a true servant is to do joyfully whatever the Master commands. My desire is to obey Christ as those in glory obey the Father, to also accept that His will is not always in line with my plans. I must submit to His direction. I cannot always explain why God does, or does not do. Jesus told Paul the Apostle “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2Cor.12:9) Lord I surrender to your plan and purpose for my life. To God be the glory.

I here as people pray when asking for “stuff”, for healing or for God to intervene in life conflicts “if it be thy will”. Although some are asking God to work and they will accept whatever He does, others use this as a statement of little faith that God will do what He has said He would do. Abraham’s story is well known and now is used as an example for our faith. Romans 4:20-21 (KJV) 20   He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21  And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

“Thy will be done”, is both a statement of surrender and victory. I desire for His perfect will to be accomplished in and through my life. To do this means surrender and in that I will be victorious. We are blessed
